What Is a WiFi QR Code?
A WiFi QR code stores wireless network information such as the network name, security type and password in a structured QR payload.
When a compatible phone or QR scanner recognizes the WiFi data, it may offer an option to connect to the encoded wireless network without requiring the user to type the SSID and password manually.
What Is an SSID?
SSID is the name of your wireless network. It is the WiFi name people normally see in the available-network list on their phone, tablet or computer.
What About Hidden Networks?
If your wireless network does not broadcast its SSID, enable the Hidden Network option so that information is included in the QR payload.
